Add and manage an AI Studio customizable summary
AI-generated summary
Genesys Cloud enables comprehensive AI-powered configuration and management through its AI Studio Workbench, supporting both novice and advanced users with customizable interaction documentation capabilities. The platform allows users to create, test, edit, duplicate, and delete configurations with extensive customization options including language dialect selection, conciseness levels (Concise or Detailed), and multiple output formats such as block text, bullet points, grouped blocks, or grouped bullet points.
Users can personalize summaries through customizable participant labels for internal roles (e.g., "Agent," "Representative") and external participants (e.g., "Customer," "Client"), with predefined insights including reason for call, resolution, and action items, plus support for up to 10 custom insights per configuration. The Avoid PII toggle provides personal identifiable information filtering to safeguard sensitive data, though this does not guarantee complete PII compliance.
For standard summaries, users can select the built-in Genesys Native Service or integrate third-party large language models through the Genesys Summarization Connector with configurable timeout durations ranging from 10-40 seconds (default 20 seconds). Advanced customization features include custom prompts for experienced users, requiring meaningful configuration names and language dialect selection to ensure proper Agent Copilot integration.
Configuration management is accessible through Menu > Orchestration > AI Studio > Summaries or Admin menu under AI Studio > Workbench, enabling users to edit, rename, duplicate, and delete configurations. A Preview panel facilitates testing across multiple transcripts and prompt variations, with best practices including testing prompts across various scenarios, monitoring latency, verifying prompt adherence, and testing edge cases. The platform emphasizes iterative refinement through removing and re-adding prompt elements before deployment to ensure reliable summarization functionality and optimal performance
You can create, test, edit, duplicate, and delete AI Studio customizable summaries. Depending on your requirements, select from standard or custom summaries, or add an external large language model (LLM) summarization service.
