Manage bids
AI-generated summary
Genesys Cloud enables management of work plan bids to optimize staffing levels within business units through the Schedule Bids page in the Admin interface. Users with appropriate permissions (Workforce Management > Work Plan Bid > View and Edit, and Workforce Management > Work Plan Bid Group > View and Edit) can view, add, copy, and delete bids containing details such as bid window, effective date, and publication status.
New bids are created directly on the Schedule Bids page by providing required information, while existing bids can be duplicated and modified through the copy function. Bid editing is fully available only when bids are in Draft status; when bids reach Scheduled, Open, or Closed status, the effective date cannot be modified. Changes to copied bids are made in the Schedule Bid configuration page.
Bids can be deleted individually or in bulk through the Actions column interface when in Draft, Optimized, Scheduled, or Closed status. Single bids are removed by selecting the Delete option, while multiple bids are deleted by selecting applicable checkboxes and clicking Delete from the upper right of the table. The system allows filtering of bid lists by selecting specific business units or management units from dropdown menus in the upper right corner of the Schedule Bids page.
