Remove a member from a chat room
Note: To remove a person from an official chat room, you must first remove the person from the official group.
While groups and chat rooms are similar, they are not the same. For example, when you remove a member from a group, the person remains a member of the group’s chat room.
To remove a member from a chat room, follow these steps:
- At the top of the chat room, click See current participants .
- Hover over the name of the person that you want to remove.
- On the right side of the name, click Remove .
