BYOC Premises Edge upgrades and updates
BYOC Premises Edge images that update or upgrade the software on the device use a SHA256 hash with a 2048-bit RSA-PSS signature.
An Edge updates its software in a maintenance window. You can keep the default window (2:00 AM to 5:00 AM) or define your own maintenance window. With this feature, Genesys ensures that each Edge device runs the latest version of software as soon as possible. For more information, see Schedule automatic updates for a BYOC Premises Edge software.
An Edge updates also include any operating system updates, including security and issue fixes. As such, you do not have to do any maintenance on an Edge device.
