Configure the sort order of campaign members
You can configure the order in which Genesys Cloud dials campaign members on campaigns in Salesforce by selecting how to sort campaign members at the campaign level and then setting a Sort Order value on individual campaign members. To add campaign members to campaigns, see Add Members to Campaigns in the Salesforce documentation.
First select how Genesys Cloud sorts campaign members on a campaign setting (Sort List Numerically, Sort List Ascending). Then, select what Genesys Cloud sorts by following these steps:
- In Salesforce, launch the Lightning app for campaign management.
- From the Lightning app navigation menu, select Campaigns.
- In the Recently Viewed section, click a campaign from the list.
- Under Campaign Members in the related list, click Edit next to a campaign member.
- Enter a value for Sort Order.
Sort Order can be any value, such as a last name or a company name.
- (Optional) To add the new campaign member with priority dialing behavior, select Genesys Cloud Contact Priority.Notes:
- You can set Genesys Cloud Contact Priority only when creating a campaign member.
- If you try to set the priority option for an existing campaign member (UI or Salesforce API), Salesforce blocks the change with the error message,
Genesys Cloud Contact Priority can be set only for New Campaign Members. - The priority option exists on the Salesforce side and is not synced as a Contact List field in Genesys Cloud.
- Existing campaign sorting still applies for non-priority campaign members.
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 3 through 5 for other campaign members.
After your campaign starts, you can monitor campaign activity.
