Manage a business unit
AI-generated summary
Genesys Cloud's business unit management system enables administrators to edit and delete business units through the Workforce Management interface. Users with appropriate Workforce Management permissions (Business Unit View, Edit, and Delete) can access the Business Units page via Admin > Workforce Management > Business Units. The editing interface provides three configuration tabs: General (for modifying business unit name and division assignment), Forecasting (for adjusting historical weeks parameters), and Scheduling (for configuring time-off request payable time synchronization and validation message severity settings). The system includes search functionality to locate specific business units by name. Deletion requires that all associated management units be removed first, as business units containing management units cannot be deleted. The deletion process requires users to confirm the business unit name before completion as a security measure. All changes are applied through a Save function after configuration adjustments are made.
