Health Data Hosting – International Data Transfers Declaration (DSCP)

In accordance with the HDS Certification Framework v2.0, this section of the Genesys Cloud Resource Center serves as our public declaration regarding international access to personal health data. This information aims to ensure transparency for our customers in France, as well as towards regulatory bodies, and certification auditors.

Data storage and access location

All health data hosted by Genesys is stored exclusively in data centers (Availability Zones) located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and managed by Amazon Web Services.

Genesys Cloud Customer Care services rely on the availability of Genesys across the globe, with a preference for EU-based engineers in case of EU customers. In the case of HDS customers, Customer Care will only involve EU staff to avoid remote (non-EU) access to customer’s ticket information–potentially including personal data. Please note that no health data is to be processed in such a context.

The table below reflects the current non-EU data flows for HDS customers. Under the current configuration, no remote access is allowed and so the use cases will be flagged as Non-Applicable. Genesys keeps the table for transparency purposes and so that this record can be updated should circumstances change–prior customers’ notification.
