Edit or delete an intent

From the Architect bot flow’s Natural Language Understanding area, you can rename or delete intents.

Rename an intent

To modify the name of an intent, follow these steps. 

1. Click Admin.
2. Under Architect, click Architect.
3. Click Menu > Orchestration > Architect.
4. Open an existing bot flow or create a new one.
5. Under Natural Language Understanding, click Intents.
6. From the Intents page, click Edit next to an intent.
7. Change the name of the intent and click Save.

Delete an intent

If you delete an intent, you also delete all of its related components (utterances and entities).

1. Click Admin.
2. Under Architect, click Architect.
3. Click Menu > Orchestration > Architect.
4. Open an existing bot flow or create a new one.
5. Under Natural Language Understanding, click Intents.
6. From the Intents page, click Delete next to an intent.
7. Click Delete in the confirmation dialog.
