Genesys Cloud – Enhancing data sovereignty with New Relic EU data center adoption

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will adopt the New Relic EU data center to improve data sovereignty and address upcoming regulatory requirements in the European Union. This change reflects the Genesys commitment to adhering to evolving EU standards, such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and meeting customer expectations for keeping monitoring data within the EU.

These updates will position Genesys Cloud to proactively address regulatory changes like DORA and align with EU customers’ increasing demands for data sovereignty. Migrating to the New Relic EU Data Center also demonstrates the Genesys commitment to adopting best practices for monitoring data management.

Important: All customers must update their firewall allowlist and add entries. Failure to make these updates may degrade Genesys Cloud’s ability to provide and support the platform.
